First aid, discipline, leadership and service to the community.
Our St. John Ambulance cadet unit trains learners in first aid and life-saving skills, discipline and leadership — and serves the community at public events. In Kenya, the national patron of St. John Ambulance is the sitting President.
Our cadets represented the school at the 95th Annual Presidential Parade at State House, Nairobi, on 21 June 2026, attended by President William Ruto, Health CS Adan Duale and PS Mary Muthoni Muriuki. Joel Musau of Form 4Y was named Cadet of the Year 2026 and received his award from the President.

Twenty-one cadets attended a week-long training camp in Kiganjo, Nyeri County (April 2025), fully sponsored by their parents. On the Ol Donyo Sabuk expedition, our cadets led a multi-school climb and helped others on the steep sections, with radio training and a visit to the 14 Falls.
The club competed at county and regional levels in 2023 (the regional event at the NYS Engineering Institute, Nairobi), with thanks to trainers Miss Nicole and Miss Shantel. In May 2023 the unit completed a 42 km fundraising Walkathon from KICC to GM Motors and back.
The club operates under patron Mrs. Judith Mosenya, with Mr. C. Owino.
