Promoting peace, unity and environmental stewardship.
The Amani (Peace) Club champions a peaceful, united and environmentally conscious school — through dialogue, debate, service and care for our environment.

Patron Ms. Ivy Chege describes her appointment as an honour, thanks Mrs. Purity Nyaga for her mentorship, and pledges to uphold the club’s values of unity, peace and progress.
On Mazingira Day (10 October 2025) the club planted fruit trees around the school compound, led by Madam Ivy and Mr. Owino, the Deputy Principal (Administration). “Planting a tree today is securing life for tomorrow,” said Madam Ivy, as dozens of trees went into the ground.

The club won the Nairobi County debate round and advanced to the Nationals at Alliance High School. Patron Miss Ivy praised the students’ discipline and teamwork, and the experience inspired other learners to join co-curricular activities.

Chairman Keith Mutinda described the club’s aim of a peaceful, environmentally conscious school. Members planted grass and trees, took part in national-level peace debates, and received the “Most Impactful Club of 2023” award.

Amani (Peace) Clubs were established by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission with the Ministry of Education — first set up in 2014 under Section 25 of the National Cohesion and Integration Act, 2008. They promote diversity, peaceful coexistence, dispute resolution and national cohesion, and hold annual national essay competitions.
