2025 TERM II END TERM NEWSLETTER DATE: 29TH JULY 2025
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We have today, Tuesday 29th July 2025, released all students for the Term II End Term break after a successful completion of Term II. The boys are expected to report back on Wednesday 27th August 2025, before 1:00 pm.
1. MOCK EXAMINATIONS
The Form 4 candidates have completed their Mock examinations, which ended today 29th July 2025. Marking is currently underway, and the results will be on Zeraki by Friday 8th August 2025. For more inquiries on their performance, you may contact your class teacher after the August Holiday. The revision programme for the Form Four students was launched on 23rd May 2025 and they are currently being taken through a structured revision exercise under the guidance of subject teachers and external examiners.
2. KCSE EXAM PREPARATION.
As we prepare for Term 3, we would like to ensure that all Form Four students are fully equipped for their KCSE examinations. To facilitate their preparations, please provide the following items:
- Scientific Calculator (fx82ms, non-programmable, 2nd edition)
- 4-Figure Mathematical Table (7th Edition)
- 30cm Clear Plastic Ruler
- 10 Blue Biro Pens
- 2 HB Steadtler Pencils
The Form 4 students each received a mathematical set from the Nyari Community and a transparent pouch from Absa bank in preparation for their KCSE Exams.
3 GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING
We encourage parents to spend quality time with their sons during the holiday to provide efficient guidance and counseling. This period offers a valuable opportunity to discuss academic progress, personal challenges, and future goals with your son. Your involvement and support play a crucial role in his overall development.
4. SCHOOL UNIFORM / TRACKSUIT
To ensure our students are well-groomed, we request you to replace school uniforms periodically, especially for Form Three and some Form Two students, as some have outgrown what was bought when they joined in Form One. To ensure a high level of hygiene, their Friday and Saturday dress code is the school tracksuit. Kindly ensure your son has a tracksuit and Bata bullet rubber shoes, which will be used on these two days apart from games time. This will allow them ample time to clean the school uniform and have it ready for the remaining days.
Additionally, for the boys who experience bed wetting, we kindly request that you purchase a mackintosh to address this concern.
5. AUGUST HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT
The August Holiday assignment has already been uploaded to the school website. Please ensure your son completes the assignment before resumption.
6. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We are proud to announce that our students have teams that excelled in various co-curricular activities:
- Music Students: Proceeding to Nationals to be held in Meru County from 8th -12th August 2025.
- Amani Club: Proceeding to Nationals at Alliance High School from 1st to 5th August 2025
- St. John Ambulance Club: Participated in Drill and Ambulance competitions up to the Regional level.
- The Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, Rugby and Basketball Teams played up to the Regional level.
The Music Students and the Amani club debate members have remained in school waiting to proceed to the Nationals on the various dates indicated. The Form 4 students will remain for the Educational Trip to Naivasha on 30th July 2025.
7. SCHOOL FEES
We sincerely thank all parents who have settled fees for Term II 2025. This has enabled the school to effectively manage various activities and programmes. The situation is dire, and if the balance are not paid on or before the Term begins, it will be difficult to take care of the students until the end of the year.
The school account number is 055-1009750 Absa bank – Muthaiga Branch or MPESA Pay Bill Number 573018. When using the school M-PESA pay bill number, ensure you capture the student’s admission number and the name (not more than 16 digits). Due to the harsh economic times, the school will only allow students with no balances to resume.
8.BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
The school Board of Management expired in May 2025. A new Board of Management was inaugurated by the Ministry of Education on 23rd July 2025.
9. CONCLUSION
We wish you a fruitful stay with your son and look forward to welcoming him back on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, by 1:00 pm.
Yours Faithfully,
K.S. BUNYASI
